WILMINGTON, NC (February 17th, 2023) - Cape Fear Community College Athletics will be hosting the 2023 Region 10 Conference Men's Basketball tournaments this March in the Joe & Barbara Schwartz Center beginning on Friday, March 3rd. The Schwartz Center will welcome 8 Division II and 7 Division I Region 10 Conference teams to compete throughout the first two weekends in March - including Cape Fear's Div. I participating Men's Basketball program.
"We are excited to welcome teams across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia to compete in some exciting matchups right here in Wilmington," says Athletic Director of CFCC Ryan Mantlo. "It is a great honor and opportunity to bring fans together to enjoy high-caliber basketball on Cape Fear's campus."

Game 1: 12PM - #1 Davidson-Davie defeated #9 Guilford Tech (113-74)
Game 2: 2PM - #5 Catawba Valley defeated #4 Louisburg (104-75)
Game 3: 5PM - #10 Lenoir defeated #2 Bryant & Stratton (76-67)
Game 4: 7PM - #6 Pitt vs. #3 Fayetteville Tech (86-82 OT)
Saturday, March 4th - Semifinals
Game 5: 2PM - #1 Davidson-Davie defeated #5 Catawba Valley (97-73)
Game 6: 4PM - #6 Pitt defeated #10 Lenoir (90-79)
Sunday, March 5th - Championship
Game: 1PM - #1 Davidson-Davie defeated #6 Pitt (85-71)
Davidson-Davie is the Region 10 Champion and South Atlantic District A Champion and recieves a bid to the National Tournament. Region 10 Runner-up Pitt Community College will play for the South Atlantic District B Championship hosted by Region 8 (FL) Champion Florida Gateway College on Saturday, March 11. The winners of the South Atlantic District A & B Championships will receive a bid to the DII NJCAA National Tournament at the Mary Miller Center in Danville, Illinois on March 21-25, 2023.

The tournament winner will be named the Region 10 and Atlantic District Champion. They will receive a bid to the NJCAA DI Men's Basketball National Tournament at the Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, KS March 20-25, 2023.

**Championship Day will be $10 for single day
