As part of Cape Fear Community College’s ongoing efforts to help provide student scholarships, the CFCC Foundation, Sea Devils Athletics and NewBridge Bank have teamed up once again this year for the Third Annual NewBridge Bank Bridge to Bridge four-mile run and one-mile walk.
“With education our priority here at Cape Fear Community College, it is vital to financially support its students, while participating with our community partners,” said Robert McGee, CFCC Athletic Director. “NewBridge Bank has embedded itself in our culture on campus and we could not thank them enough for being our title sponsor for the event.”
The four-mile course will take participants from the Isabel Holmes Bridge to the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, with the finish line set up outside the Schwartz Center, where family, friends and supporters will be on hand along with food and beverages.
Prizes and Awards
Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Finishers, both male and female. The Top Masters Finisher, both male and female. The Top 2 Finishers per age group, both male and female. Age groups are as follows.
15 and under
16-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70 and over
The four-mile early bird registration costs $25, while the one-mile walk is $20. You can also register on the day of the event, $30 for the four-mile run, and $25 for the walk.
