Basketball & Volleyball Facilities

Parking – When attending basketball and volleyball games or other athletic events at the Schwartz Center, athletes and visitors should park in the surface lot adjacent to the Schwartz Center. Charter buses may unload at the curb on Hanover St. north of the main building. Handicap parking spaces are available in this parking lot.
Entrance – Please enter the Schwartz Center through the front entrance. The front doors to the Schwartz Center will not be opened until one hour prior to game time for the general public, but teams may enter two hours prior to game time.
Admission – Admission to Volleyball and Basketball games will be $7 for adults and kids 12 and under receive free admission. CFCC students and employees receive free entry with CFCC ID. Pricing includes applicable sales tax. Cash and credit cards are both accepted at the front entrance and can only be purchased upon arrival.
Accessibility – A wheelchair accessible access point is available through the double doors alongside the Hanover Street-facing entrance (pictured above: the set of two doors under the Schwartz Center main signage). Handicap parking spaces are available. There are designated accessible seating areas throughout the gym along the front row at court level. Please feel free to contact our Athletic Department staff directly for any questions or concerns about accessibility.
Concessions – Water, soft drinks, candy, and additional snacks are available for purchase at the concessions stand in the Schwartz Center lobby. Sea Devils Athletics dri-fit t-shirts are also available for purchase.
Locker Room & Team Bench – All visiting teams will be assigned to the visitor’s locker room located at the northeast corner of the Schwartz Center. A member of your staff will be assigned a key to lock your locker room door. Visiting teams will sit on the south side of the scorer’s table.
Supplies & Equipment – Practice balls will be available approximately one hour prior to the start of the initial match or game. Water, cups, ice bags and waste receptacles will be located near the visitor’s bench.
Athletic Training Staff - Scott Glickauf, Athletic Trainer from EmergeOrtho, will be available in case of emergencies. If you have special needs, please contact Scott directly at 910-763-8184 at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Please bring your own tape if you intend to have your athletes taped. CFCC will not provide bench or shower towels. Water and cups will be provided at the bench; and ice is available upon request.
Video Taping - Teams may videotape games from the designated area in the bleachers behind the scorer’s table. Please bring your own extension cord and make sure to tape the cord to the stairs/walkway. All Cape Fear Athletics competitions are live streamed and available for viewing free to the general public.
North Campus Soccer Field

Admission – Admission to all Soccer matches is Free to all fans in attendance. Fans are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.
Accessibility – Wheelchairs and additional aids have regular access to the spectator viewing area closest to the academic building. Spectators have access to the paved sidewalk that runs adjacent to the sideline and is easily accessible from the parking lot. Handicap parking spaces are available. Additionally, the academic building is accessible from the paved sidewalk for bathroom and other amenity use. Please feel free to contact our Athletic Department staff directly for any questions or concerns about accessibility.
Concessions – While there is not an official Sea Devils Athletics concession stand present at Soccer matches, the vending machines and food vendors inside the academic building alongside the soccer field are open to the public.
Locker Room & Team Bench – Locker Rooms are not provided. Restrooms are located inside the CFCC building alongside the soccer field. Cleats must be removed upon entry to the building. In the sport of the game, please clean up your respective areas when leaving the facility (i.e. bench, restrooms, grounds, etc.) as trash receptacles will be available in the team bench areas.
