The Sea Devil Cheerleading Competition Team is a highly selective squad that represents the college at a national competition in the spring. Members must be dedicated, have an intense work ethic, and a winning attitude. Cheerleaders must possess stellar cheer technique, have clean jumps, great voice projection, knowledge and ability to execute advanced stunts, and some tumbling ability.
WHEN: Sunday, January 11 and Monday, January 12
TIME: 8:00-10:30pm
WHERE: CFCC Wilmington campus, Schwartz Center (the gym)
ACADEMIC TRYOUT REQUIREMENTS:
Full time student (at least 12 credits) in good academic standing (above 2.0)
FOR TRYOUTS:
Candidates will be taught a motion sequence and dance. Required jumps are triple toe touch, pike, and a hurdler. Stunting and tumbling abilities will be judged. (tumbling is a preference but not required to tryout for the team) There will also be a basic fitness test, and interview. Please wear comfortable clothes, sneakers, and a bow.

Beginning January 18th, 2015, practices will be held Sundays 6:00-9:00pm, Mondays 8:00-10:30pm, and Wednesdays 8:00-10:30pm through the end of March. (Every other Monday at Cheer Infinity Open Gym-$5 per)
