Shannon is now a full-time math instructor at Cape Fear Community College. Coach Gunter’s mission is to support all students and provide a positive educational experience both in and out of the classroom. Shannon is a Wilmington native and is proud to still call Wilmington home.

Coach Gunter's favorite Sea Devil memory is when the Cheer Team made it to Eastern Cheer and Dance Nationals in 2015. They finished as National Champions - defeating four year colleges and universities in their division.
