Conner Joins Mantlo's Coaching Staff

Cape Fear Head Men's Basketball Coach Ryan Mantlo has announced the addition of Charlton Conner to his staff as volunteer assistant. 

Charlton Conner, a native of Statesville, NC, will be entering his first season as volunteer assistant coach for the Cape Fear Community College Sea Devils. Conner played for the Sea Devils in the 2006-2007and 2008-2009 seasons. He helped lead the Sea Devils to the 2009 Region 10 championship and was the recipient of the Most Improved Award. After graduating from Cape Fear with an Associate in Arts Degree, Charlton continued his collegiate career at Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio. Conner, Urbana University's 2010-2011 Most Outstanding Player, currently holds the career 3 point field goal percentage record at Urbana. He also played in the 2011 Jump25.com College All-Star Classic which featured the best seniors in Ohio. Charlton graduated from Urbana University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management.

Coach Conner's primary duties will include film exchange, player development and team scouting reports.
