Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear jumped out to an early lead and never looked backed as three different players finished in double figures in an 83-68 win over CCBC Catonsville on Saturday.
Anthony Vanhook led the Sea Devils with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Calvin Davis chipped in 15 points to go along with 12 points from Demetres Abrams.
"Our execution wasn't at a championship level, but the boys are really grinding right now," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "We have to bounce back quick and be prepared to play a very good CCBC Dundalk team tomorrow."
At 2-0 on the season, Cape Fear returns to the floor Sunday for a 3 p.m. matinee at the ScwartzCenter.
