Cape Fear Falls to Patrick Henry

Pinehurst, NC - Patrick Henry handed Cape Fear its first setback of the season 84-80 in men's basketball action on Saturday night.

"Hopefully this is a wakeup call that we have to bring it every day," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo.  "Teams aren't just going to roll over and give up for us."

Anthony Vanhook paced the Sea Devils with 28 points and 14 rebounds while Demetres Abrams chipped in with 18 points.  Freshman point guard Calvin Davis and forward James Tillman were lost in the early stages of the contest.  Davis suffered a sprained ankle and is considered day to day while Tillman will undergo an MRI monday on his left knee.

Cape Fear (4-1) returns to the friendly confines of the Schwartz Center for a midweek contest against Louisburg College on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
