Baltimore, MD - After dropping a pair of road games in the state of Florida last week the Cape Fear Community College men's basketball team showed resilience in the City of Baltimore Saturday as the Sea Devils pulled out a 68-64 win over Hagerstown Community College.
"It's great to get a win, but it's concerning that we are still making the same mistakes," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "Things must change in a hurry in order to be where we want to be."
Anthony Vanhook led the way for Cape Fear with 21 points and 18 rebounds and two other Sea Devils finished in double figures. Aaron Thomas chipped in with 15 points and eight boards, while Demetres Abrams added 16 to the scoring column.
Cape Fear moved to 6-5 on the year and wrap up a four game road swing in two different states against Baltimore CC on Sunday.
