Baltimore, MD - Cape Fear Community College picked up its second win in as many days as the Sea Devils held off Baltimore Community College 80-71 in men's basketball action on Sunday.
Anthony Vanhook posted a double-double in consecutive games with a game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Aaron Thomas chipped in with 17 points. TJ Evans also added 10 points to give three Cape Fear players in double figures.
"I was very pleased with our effort today," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "We are beginning to understand what it takes to play championship level basketball and that will help us down the road."
The Sea Devils moved to 7-5 overall and finish up a grueling road swing through the month of December with three games Dec. 17-19 on a neutral court against three different opponents at the Brunswick Community College Holiday Classic.
