Walterboro, SC - Cape Fear Community College suffered a 79-73 setback to USC-Salkehatchie in men's basketball action on Friday night.
Three different Sea Devils finished in double figures, but the effort was not enough as Cape Fear fell to 1-2 in conference and 13-8 overall.
"We continue to have lapses throughout the game that are costing us big in the end," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "We must get tougher and cherish every second we are blessed to play this game."
Calvin Davis led the way for Cape Fear with 15 points, while Parris Manning chipped in 13 to go along with 12 points from Nate Sims.
The Sea Devils look to get back in the win column at home against Denmark Tech on Wednesday, Jan. 28. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. as the school holds its annual Military Appreciation game.
