Louisburg, NC - Cape Fear Community College is headed to the National Junior College Athletic Association DI Championship for the second consecutive season and fourth time in seven years as the Sea Devils pulled out a 64-51 over USC-Saklehatchie on Saturday afternoon.
"I'm so very proud of these young men," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "We have battled through adversity this year and they have responded with excellence."
Anthony Vanhook led three Cape Fear players in double figures with 15 points. Demetres Abrams finished with 12 and Cordea Wilson added 10 points.
The NJCAA Tournament will be held March 16-21 in Hutchinson, Kansas.
