Sea Devils Slip Up Against Georgia Highlands

Rome, GA - Cape Fear Community College opened its two-game weekend road swing in the Peach State with a 79-71 setback to Georgia Highlands in men's basketball on Friday night.

"We don't deserve to beat these good teams right now," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "We must figure out they aren't just going to give us these games, but we have to earn them."

TJ Evans led the Sea Devils with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Tyrek Coger added 13 points in the effort.  

Cape Fear fell to 4-3 overall and wrap their trip to Rome, Georgia against Chattahoochie Tech at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
