Cape Fear Back in Winning Column

Rome, GA - Coming off an eight-point setback to start the Georgia Highlands Classic, Cape Fear Community College bounced back with a 73-70 triumph over Chattahoochee Technical College on Saturday afternoon.

T.J. Evans dropped 21 points to lead the Sea Devils in scoring for the fifth time this season, while Alonzo Tyson and Calvin Davis chipped in with 12 points respectively.  Michael Chambers rounded out the double digit scoring for the Sea Devils with 10 points.

"It was nice to get back in the win column today," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "We challenged our guys at the half and they responded very well to finish off the game."

The Sea Devils went 1-1 over the weekend to move to 5-3 overall heading into a three-game home stand beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 24 against Wake Tech. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Schwartz Center.
