Sea Devils Push Home Streak to 23

Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear Community College continued its early season dominance at the Schwartz Center following a 112-82 victory over Central Carolina Community College in men's basketball action on Saturday.

Five players closed in double figures to give the Sea Devils a 7-0 mark on their home floor, improving to 8-3 overall.

"We continue to do some great things offensively, but have to sure up our defense in the long run," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "If we will buy into that end of the floor sky's the limit."

Alonzo Tyson led all scorers with 27 points and Michael Chambers put in 24 points. TJ Evans, Matt Lindsey and Tyrek Coger also closed in double figures.

Winners of four straight, and 23 straight at home, the Sea Devils look to grab their second road win against Wake Tech on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Cape Fear defeated Wake Tech 101-86 in late November.
