Sea Devils Falter at Denmark

Denmark, SC - The Cape Fear Community College men's basketball team saw its 13 game winning streak come to an end on Saturday following a 101-95 setback at Denmark Tech.

"We flat out got out worked today," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "Hopefully this will be a loud wake up call. We must continue to work every day and improve on the defensive end of the floor."

Michael Chambers led the Sea Devils with 21 pints, while Alonzo Tyson and TJ Evans chipped in with 18 apiece. Tyson also pulled down 20 rebounds.

Despite the result, Cape maintains a two-game lead for top spot in Region 10 standings, with two matchups left in the regular season.  The Sea Devils fell to 7-1 in the division and 22-6 overall heading into their final home game against Spartanburg Methodist on Saturday, Feb. 20.
