Wilmington, NC - Men's Basketball loses 68-66 to Richard Bland College.
It was a tough loss for the Sea Devils today. They were able to keep up with the Statesmen for the entire game, but simply fell short at the end. Dakari Johnson had 21 points, Talton Jones had 12 points, and Torey James scored 11 points.
Coach Mark Lane says, "This one hurt. Conference games are sometimes won on toughness and they were the tougher team tonight. No time to dwell on the loss".
The Sea Devils are now 4-5 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th as they take on Patrick Henry Community College in the Schwartz Center. Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m. Everyone should come out and join the Sea Devils for the Holdiday event with crafts for the kids from 12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m. and a visit from Santa!
