Wilmington, NC - Men's basketball defeats Central Carolina Community College 110-59!
The Sea Devils had a very impressive win during the Military Appreciation game! We saw multiple players scoring in double figures: Dakari Johnson with 25 points, TJ NeSmith with 15 points, Torey James with 15 points, Talton Jones with 13 points, and Bailey Encalade with 13 points. The Sea Devils have won their last seven games and hope to continue this winning streak going into conference play.
Coach Mark Lane says "Good balanced scoring throughout the game. It gives us good momentum going into a conference game. We'll need to continue that moving forward".
They are now 11-5 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, January 18th as they take on USC Salkehatchie. Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m. in the Schwartz Center.
