Petersburg, VA - Men's basketball defeats Richard Bland College 83-60!
The Sea Devils earned a huge road win against the Statesmen! They were able to put together two complete halves to come out on top. Many players contributed to this great conference win! Dakari Johnson led in scoring with 23 points, Torey James had 16 points, Talton Jones had 14 points, and TJ NeSmith scored 12 points.
Coach Mark Lane says "Great win on the road, our guys battled the whole game, good to get back in the win column. Just need to continue to get better in practice and it starts on the defensive end".
They are now 15-6 on the season and 3-2 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 8th against conference rival, USC Salkehatchie. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m. in Walterboro, SC.
