Men's Basketball Loses to USC Salk

Walterboro, SC - Men's basketball loses 101-90 to USC Salkehatchie.

The Sea Devils battled hard throughout the whole game, but were unable to come out on top. They simply need to work hard more as a unit on the defensive side of the court. There were three players who scored in double figures.  Dakari Johnson led with 32 points, Talton Jones scored 22 points, and Torey James had 20 points.

Coach Mark Lane says "The kids played their tails off, need to make free throws and rebound against good teams especially on the road. We look to bounce back Wednesday against BCC".

They are now 15-7 on the season and 3-3 in conference play.

Their next game is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12th against Brunswick Community College. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. in the Schwartz Center.
