Sea Devils Lose in Double Overtime

Bolivia, NC - Men's basketball loses 111-105 to Brunswick Community College in double overtime.

The Sea Devils traveled down the road to take on conference foe, Brunswick Community College. At the end of regulation, the score was tied up 83-83 to force overtime. At the end of the first overtime period, the score was tied again at 94-94. This would be the first time all season that the team saw a double overtime game. They were unable to come out victorious at the end of the second OT period.

Standout players included; Dakari Johnson who led 36 points, Torey James had 25 points, and Talton Jones scored 20 points.

Assistant coach Randolph Howell says "We fought hard, but need to take care of the ball late in the game, proud of our team's effort".

They are now 19-8 on the season and 7-4 in conference play.

Their last regular season game is scheduled for Saturday, February 29th against Denmark Technical College. We will be honoring our three sophomores; Torey James, Trayvon Ferrell and Hunter Meyer. Tipoff is set for 3:00 p.m.
