Cape Fear Falls to Wake Tech

Raleigh, NC - Cape Fear saw its five game win streak come to an end in Raleigh Thursday in a 2-1 setback to Wake Tech.

The Sea Devils stuck first with a goal from David Segura in the 13th minute off an assist from Muhammed Jahateh.  Wake Tech came screaming back, adding a goal of their own in the 15th minute and the game winner in the 30th

"We made two mistakes in the first half that put us behind," said CFCC Coach Chris Libert.  "I felt like we were all over them in the second but just couldn't find a way to put the ball in the back of the net.  We will get back to work tomorrow and try to continue to put 90 minutes together."

The Sea Devils (1-1, 5-1) are in the midst of a four game road swing and get back on the pitch Wednesday, Sept. 17 at Louisburg College.
