Cape Fear Shuts Out Lancaster

Wilmington, NC - Brian Pinder scored twice in the opening 10 minutes and George Kartsimans found the back of the net two more times as Cape Fear shutout USC-Lancaster 6-0 at the CFCC North Campus.

The Sea Devils (5-8-1, 9-9-1) moved back to the .500 mark to finish the season and take on USC-Salkehatichie in the opening round of the conference tournament.

"I'm real proud of the way our boys came out today and picked up the shutout," said CFCC Coach Chris Libert. "Our sophomores have been dedicated all season and it was good to see them get a win in their final regular season home game.

"Hopefully we can take some of this momentum into the conference tournament."

Dakota Moore made two stops in the shutout.
