Cape Fear Men's Soccer Loses to USC Salkehatchie

Allendale, SC - Cape Fear men's soccer lost by 4-0 to USC Salkehatchie on Saturday.

"A very poor performance on our part," said head coach C.W. Ponton. "We lacked intensity and effort for the first 70 minutes of the game."

However, Ponton did note the play of sophomore defender Christian Calderon for having a standout performance.

The loss takes the Sea Devils to 3-9 on the season, and 3-8 in conference play.

They will play next on Sunday, October 16th, against Spartanburg Methodist. The game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., and will take place at Cape Fear Academy in Wilmington, NC.
