Cape Fear Community College Athletics lost a brother from it's family this past week. Eddie West passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017. The beloved son on Wanda and Danny West, Eddie was a star soccer player on the 2008 championship team. West became only the second player in Sea Devil soccer history to be named to the NJCAA All-American team and the first ever to be named Region 10 Player of the Year.
"Our hearts are hurting as a department at this time," commented CFCC Director of Athletics Ryan Mantlo. "Our thoughts and condolences goes out to the entire West family as they deal with this unfortunate tragedy."
