Men's Soccer Cruises Past Southwest Virginia

Richlands, VA - Mens soccer has an impressive win. Defeating Southwest Virginia 15-1.

The Sea Devils were unstoppable on the offensive side of the field. They had mutiple goal scorers on the day. Raul Venegas had an excellent day as he converted for 4 goals, Marcos Reyes had two goals and two assist, Tristan Torbett had two goals, Travis Cotton had 2 goals and 1 assist, and Jair Mondragon had 2 goals.  Tyler Keser, Quavon White and Charles Barkman all tallied 1 goal.

Coach C.W Ponton says, "it's extremely disappointing we allowed a goal today. We must toughen up defensively... across the board! That being said, the team looked good across the board offensively even though we need to make better runs on a consistent basis. The conditions were rough, but it was good to pull off the win".

The Sea Devils are now 6-5 on the season and 4-4 on the season.

Their next game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 23rd in Louisburg, NC. They take on Louisburg College with a 3:00 p.m. kick off.
