Louisburg, NC - Mens soccer loses 8-1 to Louisburg College.
It was a rough day for the Sea Devils today. Five of Louisburg Colleges goals were scored in the first half of play. Their looked to be a glimmer of hope as Tyler Kesser scored the only goal for the Sea Devils, only putting the team down 1-2 in the 33rd minute of the game. Louisburg College just had better luck down on the offensive side of the field. Taylor Trimble had a very consistent work rate on the defensive side of the field.
Head coach C.W Ponton was disappointed and commented, "we didn't want it".
They are now 6-6 on the season and 4-5 in conference play.
They look to get back in the win column on Saturday, October 27th as they take on USC Salkehatchie at 5pm. We hope to see a good turnout to honor our sophomore class!
