The Sea Devils made it three straight wins to start the New Year and back-to-back victories following a 76-55 result over Patrick Henry CC to wrap up a quick trip to the state of Virginia.
Coming off a 94-55 route against Tidewater CC the day prior, Kristina Rumplasch put in another strong performance to lead Cape Fear with 18 points. The sophomore also hit for 15 on Saturday as six different players finished in double figures including, Eboni Gilliam, who scored a game-high 17 points to open the weekend.
Jasmine Brown and Tori Florence recorded 15 apiece to pace the offense against Patrick Henry on Sunday.
Cape Fear moved to 6-2 in conference and 11-4 overall. The Sea Devils briefly return home for a matchup against Wake Tech on Wednesday, Jan.14, before a grueling seven-game road swing throughout a 13-day period.
