Spartanburg, SC - Cape Fear continued its torrid pace to start the New Year on Saturday as the Sea Devils cruised to their sixth straight win following an 87-51 rout over Spartanburg Methodist.
Six different players finished in double figures for Cape Fear, who moved to 9-2 in conference and 14-4 overall. Eboni Gilliam led all scorers with 18 points and Victoria Florence chipped in with 17 to pace the offensive attack.
The Sea Devils are 2-0 on the seven-game road trip and get back on the floor Sunday, Jan. 18 to wrap up the weekend in South Carolina with a 2p.m. tip-off against Clinton Junior College.
