Rock Hill, SC - Cape Fear women's basketball defeated Clinton College 74-58 on Tuesday.
Three Sea Devils scored in double figures. Ny Langley led the team with 19 points, A'Terria Quick scored 15, and Tracey Kemp added 12.
Despite the final scoreline, Tuesday's win didn't come easy for Cape Fear. Down 23-11 early in the game, the lady Sea Devils went on a 12-2 run to get back into the game. They eventually took the lead and then pulled away in the second half.
"I couldn't be more proud of the way my team performed tonight," said head coach Lori Drake.
The win continues a great start for Cape Fear, who improve to 5-1 on the season and 4-0 in conference play.
The team will get some time off during the Thanksgiving holiday before returning to action on November 28th, where they will take on Bryant & Stratton College on the road at 6:30 p.m.
