Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball defeated Guilford Technical Community College 80-75 on Saturday.
Ny Langley and Ayonna Cotten led the Sea Devils in points, with each scoring 19 points.
Saturday's win comes a few days after the Sea Devils dropped a close game to Bryant & Stratton College 75-69. For head coach Lori Drake, the win over Guilford was the perfect response.
"I am proud in how our ladies bounced back from the loss this past Wednesday," said Coach Drake. "Now it's time to refocus and prepare for Wake Tech."
Cape Fear improves to 6-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
Their game against Wake Tech is scheduled for next Saturday, December 8th. The game will be played New Hanover High School at 1:00 p.m.
