Women's Basketball Picks Up Road Win

Raleigh, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball picked up a road conference win by defeating Wake Tech Community College, 86-60.

A'Terria Quick led all scorers with 22 points, while Ny Langley finished with 17. Autum Morings added 14.

Wake Tech's Timia Grant led the Eagles with 20.

"I am proud of the energy and togetherness that we brought to get the road win tonight," said head coach Lori Drake. "As March creeps near we continue to build and grow."

This was the first game in a week for the Sea Devils, as they came off a 74-43 win over Brunswick Community College. It is their second consecutive win, and their seventh win in the last eight games.

The team improves to 17-4 overall and 12-3 in conference play. They will hit the road again as they take on Fayetteville Tech Community College on Saturday, February 16th. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
