Raleigh, NC - Women's basketball wins first game of the season defeating Wake Tech CC 67-64!
As the Sea Devils have their first win of the season, they look to keep the winning up! This game came down to the wire as the Sea Devils held onto their 3 point lead. Rashauna Grant scored an impressive 30 points as she accounted for almost half of the Sea Devils points. Jadin Gladden scored 17 points on the day, she was a huge contribution to their win.
Coach Lori Drake says "We needed to get a win under our belt. This win was a good start to our season. Road wins are hard to come by so we will take it".
The Sea Devils are now 1-2 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Monday, November 18th as they travel to Lenoir Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
