Norfolk, VA - Women's basketball comes back from a huge halftime deficit to defeat Bryant and Stratton College 65-61!
The lady Sea Devils had a fantastic second half as they were able to rally and comeback to win the game. They struggled to convert on the offensive side and to make a good defensive stop. They needed a half time break to really comeback and work together to win the game. They ended up fighting from being down 24 points at the half. Jadin Gladden had a great game as she had 28 points on the day.
Coach Lori Drake says "After being down 24 points at halftime, we had to find a lot of grit and fight to make the comeback that we did. I couldn't be more proud of my team for the win tonight. We must continue our road game swing and finish out the week strong".
They are now 3-2 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, November 23rd as they take on Louisburg College in Louisburg, NC. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
