Wilmington, NC - Women's basketball defeats Fayetteville Technical Community College 111-20!
The Sea Devils were unstoppable on the offensive side of the court! The Sea Devils saw many players come off the bench and contribute to this great team win. Everyone worked together and the final score shows that. Jada Nowlin had 22 points and Rashauna Grant had 16 points on the game.
Coach Lori Drake says "We stayed focused for 40 minutes and reached our team goals set prior to the game. We needed to get a good win at home on the season after dropping our first two. I am proud of all of our kids for their mental focus and efforts in tonight's game".
The Sea Devils are now 5-2 on the season and 5-1 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th as they take on Brunswick Community College at the Schwartz Center. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. Everyone should come out and join the Sea Devils for the Holdiday event with crafts for the kids from 12:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m. and a visit from Santa!
