Wilmington, NC - Women's basketball defeats Brunswick Community College 99-67!
The Lady Sea Devils earned their 6th conference win of the season in the Holiday Celebration game on Saturday! The offense struggled a little bit in the first half, but they were able to pull together in the second half for an impressive win. Jadin Gladden and NiAmoni Bagley both put up 20 points on the game.
Coach Lori Drake says "Going against BCC is always a challenge, and that it was in the first half of the game. It took a good half time speech to get our girls rolling in the second half where we really opened it up and took control of the game. I am proud of how our ladies performed in the second half of the game".
They are now 6-2 on the season and 6-1 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday December 14th as they take on Catawba Valley Community College in the Schwartz Center. Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m.
