Sea Devils Rebound With Win

Wilmington, NC - With three players scoring in double figures, Cape Fear women's basketball defeated East Georgia State College 77-66 on Tuesday.

Kalaya Hall led the team in scoring with 20 points, Rashauna Grant had 18 points, and Jadin Gladden scored 17 points.

Cape Fear came into Tuesday's game following 2 tough loses on Saturday and Monday.  For head coach Lori Drake, the win over East Georgia State College was a nice way to bounce back!

"We fought for 40 minutes tonight," said Coach Drake. "I couldn't be more proud of how my team responded after trailing the majority of the game. Going into the Christmas break with a solid win under our belt feels good."

Cape Fear improves to 7-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play.

Their next game is scheduled for Sunday, December 29th as they head to Americus, Georgia to take part in the Lady Jets Holiday Classic.  They face off against Gulf Coast State College.  Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
