Women's Soccer Moves to #15 in National Poll

Wilmington, NC - Having outscored its opponents 9-0 in two games this season, the Cape Fear Community College women's soccer team moved up five spots to No. 15 in this week's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Top-20 poll.

The Sea Devils have had a week off since winning back-to-back games against Howard CC and Anne Arundel CC on Aug. 23-24.

Nikki Tiller (New Hanover) is off to another strong start as last year's leading goal scorer as the sophomore has one goal and three assists so far this season. Freshman Karlie Yeomans (Croatan) has also burst on the scene with four goals to start the year.

No. 15 Cape Fear will have an early season test against conference rival No. 20 Spartanburg Methodist College on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. at the CFCC North Campus Field.
