Spartanburg, SC - The Lady Sea Devils could not overcome an early red card issued as Spartanburg Methodist blanked Cape Fear 3-0 on Saturday.
"I was really proud of our resiliency and fight to the end even though we had to play a man down for most of the match," said CFCC Coach Melissa Anderson. "We'll need to keep our focus as we head into the stretch run with a favorable schedule at home."
Cape Fear saw its four-game winning streak come to an end and fell to 5-1-1 in conference. The Sea Devils play four of their final five regular season games at home and look to get back in the win column against Wake Tech on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
