Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear bounced back from its second setback of the season with a dominant performance Saturday afternoon as the Sea Devils upended USC-Salkehatchie 4-1 at the CFCC North Campus Field.
Larrissa Bonilla tallied twice, Armani Boswell found the back of the net and Katie Sterling scored on a penalty kick to get the home side back in the win column.
"It was good to get back on track, and I was really pleased with the total team effort," said CFCC Coach Melissa Anderson.
The Lady Sea Devils moved to 6-1-1 in Region 10 play and 9-2-1 overall heading into the final stretch of the regular season with four games to go on the schedule. After playing to a scoreless draw earlier in the season Cape Fear returns to the pitch for a rematch against Louisburg College on Monday, Oct. 20.
