Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear bounced back from its second setback in conference with an emphatic 7-0 shutout over Patrick Henry on Wednesday.
Seven different players found the back of the net for the Sea Devils, who moved to 7-2-1 in Region 10 play and 10-3-1 overall.
"It's always good to see the entire team get in on a win with seven different goal scorers," said CFCC Coach Melissa Anderson. "It's good to see that intensity and be able to rebound after a tough loss to Louisburg."
Nikki Tiller, Karlie Yeoman, Angie Zanelli, Vivian Hernandez, Kayla Beverly, Courtney Cox and Larissa Bonilla tallied in the shutout.
With two games to go in the regular season, Cape Fear returns to the pitch against Wake Tech on Thursday, Oct. 24.
