The Sea Devils would get one back in the 55th minute, as Pecorini would score off an assist by freshman Alaina Capps.

Raynor would tie the game six minutes later, finishing off a goal in the 61st minute. Freshman Ashley Carter would provide the assist on Raynor's first goal.

In the 70th minute, Pecorini would score her second of the game off an assist by Raynor, putting Cape Fear up 3-2.

Pfeiffer JV would tie the game at 3-3 in the 77th minute, and from that point it looked as if Cape Fear would walk away with a draw.

Then, in the 88th minute, Raynor received a pass from Capps, getting behind Pfieffer's defenders and beating the goalkeeper to score the game winner.

For the game, goalkeepers Elizabeth Ethridge and Kenedy Green would combine for 9 saves in the game.

"The team did a great job handling the score line and earning a positive result on the road." said Deppa. "I was very moved by how the team supported each other when we were down. It was a sign of our toughness."

The win improves Cape Fear's overall record to 10-0 on the season. With today's game being a non-conference game, their conference record remains 7-0.
