Coming off a historical season in 2016, which included the graduation of 9 returning players, the Sea Devils look to push forward in 2017. Coach Ryan Deppa, "We have some very big shoes to fill on the field. We graduated quality players, and quality teammates. We have been very selective in 2017. The focus was to bring in players that are capable of getting it done in the classroom, players who are capable of being great teammates, and players that we believe will work hard for our program. It has been a great process in getting to know the incoming class. I feel confident that they will fit very nicely with the talented and loyal players we have returning for the 2017 team."
