Cape Fear Women’s Soccer Defeats USC Lancaster

Lancaster, SC - Cape Fear women's soccer defeated USC Lancaster 10-0 on Friday.

Trinity Davis and Skyler Giolitti scored hattricks; while Karina Carbajal, Sally Yamada, Kaila Acuna, and Esperanza McKay each scored one. McKay also had a team high of three assists.

Goalkeeper C.J Garvey made three saves to earn another shutout. The team has yet to allow a goal in games they have won this season.

"[I'm] really proud of this team for being able to adapt this week to the schedule, and push forward together," said head coach Ryan Deppa. "They have done a tremendous job. Proud of all of them for working to be more efficient in the attacking third in the 2nd half."

Coach Deppa congratulated Davis and Giolitti for their big days.

"[It's] pretty special to have Trinity and Skyler both go off for hat tricks today."

The Sea Devils improve to 12-1-1 overall and 8-0-1 in conference.

Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, October 20th, and 12 p.m.
