Cape Fear Sweeps Wake Tech

Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear women's soccer defeated Wake Tech Community College 4-0 on Saturday.

Trinity Davis scored a brace, while Dani Donovan and Skyler Giolitti scored one goal each.

One of Davis's goal, as head coach Ryan Deppa explained, was one to remember.

"Our team scores some nice goals, and I have seen some really great ones at Cape Fear, but Trinity Davis's strike today from the left side was one of the best I have seen," said Deppa.

It's another win for the Sea Devils, whose unbeaten streak extends to 13 games. Still, Deppa sees the effects of so many games showing.

"The team is tired," said Deppa. "It is showing and has been, but they are making it happen, and making the most of the experience along the way. They are going to be pretty tough come Region 10 Tournament time."

Cape Fear improves to 13-1-1 overall and 9-0-1 in conference play. Their last regular season game is scheduled for Sunday, October 21st, where they will take on USC Lancaster on the road at 2:00 p.m.
