Lady Sea Devils Win First Conference Game

Axton, VA - Cape Fear Women's Soccer gets a huge road win against Patrick Henry Community College defeating the Patriots 14-0.

Cape Fear kicked off the scoring early into the match, with goals from Abbey Cowan, Lina Vasquez, Haven Best, Isabel Covert, Samantha Iorio, Ryan Winseman, Silken Carlton, Gracie Stoltz, and Esperanza McKayMaggie Hall finished with two goals and Trinity Davis had her first hat trick of the 2019 season.

The Sea Devils got the ball rolling fast scoring within less than three minutes into the match. With the season just getting started things seem to be headed in the right direction for this promising Sea Devil squad.

"It was nice to see so many players involved with the score line to open the season. We will now use the week to prepare for a challenging match on August 30th, when we are back on the road to play Bluefield College" said coach Ryan Deppa. 

Cape Fear improves to 1-0 on the season and is now 1-0 in conference play.

Their next game is scheduled for next Friday, August 30th where they will take on Bluefield College. The game will be played at 4:00 at the East River Soccer Complex in Bluefield, WV.
