Women’s Soccer Defeats Southwest Virginia CC

Cedar Bluff, VA- Cape Fear women's soccer defeats Southwest Virginia Community college 13-0.

In the first half Maggie Hall scored three goals, Silken Carlton had two, while Trinity Davis and Gabrielle Kirkman each tallied one goal.  The goals continued in the second half with three goals by Jayana Nicholson, Candace Pierce had one, while Trinity Davis scored her second of the day and Maggie Hall scored one more goal to give her four total goals on the day.

Coach Ryan Deppa had nothing but great things to say about both the lady Sea Devils and Southwest Virginia Community College… "Southwest Virginia played with a lot of heart today. They were dealing with some injuries and the heat, but they never gave up. We had a number of players get their first college goal this past weekend which is always exciting for our players and team".

The Sea Devils improve to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.

Cape Fear Women's soccer looks to keep their winning streak alive as they take on conference opponent Wake Technical Community College in Holly Springs, NC on Friday September 6th at 2pm.
