Women's Soccer Bounces Back With Dominate Win

Lancaster, SC- Women's soccer has shutout win over USC Lancaster defeating the Lancers 11-0.

The offensive effort for the Sea Devils was incredible today. There were 6 different goal scorers in this impressive win. Jayana Nicholson (2), Abbey Cowan (2), Trinity Davis (3), Gracie Stoltz (2), Sam Iorio (1), and Haven Best (1). Sammie Armstrong and De'Sheryl Hill combined forces in goal to help earn the shutout.

Coach Ryan Deppa had nothing but great things to say about both the women's team and the fans. "The team's effort to work hard for each other from the first whistle to the final whistle was solid, it was a good team win today. We play a majority of our schedule on the road this season and we really have had a solid group of family and fans traveling to support the team. Their support has definitely helped our girls stay on track".

The Sea Devils improve to 4-1 in conference play and 5-1 on the season.

They travel to Virginia Beach, VA Friday, September 27th as they take on Regent University. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 pm as the Sea Devils seek another win.
