Women's Soccer Defeats Allen University

Columbia, SC- Women's soccer has another shutout win as they beat Allen University 10-0 on the road!

The Sea Devils had an impressive seven goals in the first half! There were five different goal scorers during this half. Maggie Hall with two goals, Braydon Lewis Mizlo with one goal, Silken Carlton with one goal, Trinity Davis with two goals and Gracie Stoltz with one goal. The scoring continued into the second half as three more goals were tallied on. Trinity Davis had her third goal of the game, Silken Carlton with her second and Laney Gonzalez joining in on the scoring with one goal. De'Sheryl Hill and Gabrielle Kirkman combined in goal for yet another shutout. 

Coach Ryan Deppa commented "The team is starting to get more comfortable with each other on and off the field. The staff can all see the improvement in the last month. They have a busy week coming up. They will be rested up and ready to go".

The Sea Devils are now 4-1 in conference play and 8-1 on the season.

Their next game is scheduled for Tuesday October 8th in Holly Springs, NC. They will take on conference opponent Wake Tech Community College at 2:00 p.m.
