Women's Soccer Defeats USC Salkehatchie

Allendale, SC - Women's soccer defeated USC Salkehatchie on the road 1-0!

From the jump USC Salkehatchie came out strong really challenging the Sea Devils on both ends of the field. It was then that the Sea Devils began to get some momentum to score on the offensive side. The game winning goal was scored by Lina Vasquez with the assist coming from Camryn Ekonomon. For the 7th time this season De'Sheryl Hill earned a shutout win!

Coach Ryan Deppa said "USC Salkehatchie presented us with a tactical challenge today. Their coach and team did a great job against us. Our girls found a way to pull another win on the road. Proud of them for getting it done".

The Lady Sea Devils are now 9-1-1 on the season and 5-1-1 in conference play.

Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, October 12th in Wilmington, NC. They take on USC Lancaster at 6:00 p.m.
